When I received an email this week from Shelley at Sweet Pea Home telling me about a little sale she was having at her house, I knew that I had to stop by! I wanted to meet Shelley, and I knew she would have some terrific junk. Shelley is a dealer, junk lover and decorator extraordinaire! Her home in Winter Park, Florida has been on the cover of Porch magazine, is currently featured in an Italian design magazine and is also the Cottage of the Month over at The Old Painted Cottage right now. If you haven't seen it, you will be amazed at her talent and creativity. I'll be sure to give you that link again at the end of this post so you can spend a few hours visiting. lol I'm anxious to show you some more of the goodies she had for sale. How about that twine above and that gorgeous alarm clock?
Shelley and her husband travel to the Marburger Farms show each year to buy and sell. Let's face it, we all know that is where the good junk is hiding! I loved this unique trunk pictured above.
Shelley is not only a talented decorator but also an artist. She uses these old clock "frames" in her own home and inserts a nest inside. The result is stunning. She also had some great jewelry, pillows, cloches and paper products available.
I picked up some really cute things which I immediately came home and started decorating with in the new studio. It really inspired me to get started. I will share photos of my purchases and the evolving studio with you this week. Ready to go see Shelley's beautiful home? Click here! Don't forget to visit Shelley's blog too and tell her how much you love her home. Let her know that I sent you! Have a great week my friends. I'll be linking up to:
