I love constantly redecorating my PB cubby in the kitchen. I usually decorate it for each holiday. Today though, I've decided to decorate it with some vintage kitchen items, including some old recipe cards that I found at an estate sale.
This cubby is my best excuse for all those little pieces of junk that I have to have when we are out antique shopping or hitting the garage sales! Hope you have a great weekend, my friends! xoxo

Love your cubby and all the wonderful treasures. Each one looks so important when it has its own space for showing off. I need one of these!!
ReplyDeleteLove it, especially including the recipes!
ReplyDeleteI love cubbies too! I have an old metal one that I'm trying to find just the right place for in my house...so far it's looking pretty good on the screened in porch. Love the recipe cards in yours.
ReplyDeleteMmm lovely vingette.
ReplyDeleteI have trouble keeping the dishes done in my kitchen most days LOL {is a tidy sink area considered a decorating skill?...} Wish I had a fraction of your wonderful style sense.
Thanks for sharing Keep smiling and creating
Love, love, love it Vicki!! I love my little trinkets and baubles - and kitchen stuff is among my favorite. Darling little frogs you use to display the cards....I'm addicted to frogs. ;o) Happy Saturday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

It looks great, Vicki, you're the cubby queen :) I love mine but it doesn't look as good as yours.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the fact that it gives you an excuse for grabbing those 'small' items at sales -- I have a few small drawers I decorate for the seasons and they serve that purpose for me! LOVE the idea of the old recipes . . . something else to scout out now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. Changing season to season would be a great idea. Love the recipes.
ReplyDeleteI love how you use the little metal frogs to display recipe cards.

Hi there Vicki! I just love your little cubbies ,what a great idea.I have a kitchen cupboard that I do the same thing with. In the shelves below I have boxes marked, pink dishes, yellow dishes or white dishes. I usually change them 2 or 3 times a year but this year, for some reason, I have changed them 3 times since Christmas.Yesterday I put all my yellow ones out with my cobalt blue glass collection cause it reminds me of spring.
ReplyDeleteSome might say "get a life" but I say "why not".
Love your blog.

Hello Dear Vicki
ReplyDeleteI just love the way you have decorated your cubby!
Would you believe I have one almost identical and have it in my studio full of laces, buttons, braids, threads etc. etc. and it is so handy to just go and grab from there what you need without hunting!
Love your camera collection too!
Have a wonderfully creative week!
Hugs from Suzy
